Having done this awhile now, I thought it might be time to offer a service to make your pen like new again! This will obviously be for higher end Heirloom and Elite Series of pens. No matter who makes it or how much you paid for it, in time, a pen's finish will wear. The wear from the oils and acids in our hands, the drops, the scuffs, heat, cold, it all takes its toll! NOTE: I will not and cannot be responsible to damage to any of the metal parts disassembling a pen! The center band on the cap is the only real challenging part, as there is a plastic sleeve inside that sometimes comes out easily and sometimes it doesn't. There MAY be additional charges to replace metal parts and/or the blank itself, up to and including the entire cost of the pen. It's unlikely, but you need to know what MAY happen! I'll disassemble your pen, take the old finish completely off, and refinish with a minimum of 10 coats of new finish. I'll reassemble your pen and you'll basically get a new pen back! Metal parts are excluded from this, and will be handled on an individual case. This service is only for pens I made, simply because I usually have no idea how someone else built and assembled their pen. The $35.00 fee includes return Priority Mail shipping, insured.
